Interactive Performance

Description

First of all, it is important to keep in mind that the fund’s shares are available in D+1, but they refer to the performance of the D day. So, if you would like to see the fund’s performance in July 2002, you will have to type:

Initial Date: 06/30/2002
Final Date: 07/31/2002

If you type:

Initial Date: 07/01/2002
Final Date: 07/31/2002, you will be losing the profitability of the first day.

If you type a date that isn’t a business day (Saturday, Sunday, holidays), the system will automatically redirect you to the previous business day.

After inputting your chosen time frame, select the required benchmarks. If you choose a fund and an index, the period’s net profitability will also appear. In other words, you will be able to see the fund’s performance already discounted by the performance of the chosen index.

If you choose a time frame that is longer than 1 year, the system will also give you the annualized performance of the period.

The system uses the following data:

  • Dynamo Cougar and Dynamo Puma – Daily NAV/Share.
  • IBOVESPA, IBX and FGV-100 – Daily Values.
  • US Dollar – Daily value for the Ptax Venda.
  • CDI – Daily Value.
  • IGPM – As IGPM is only reported at the end of the month, in order to avoid the subjectivity of projections, a pro rata calculation is employed using the IGPM from the previous month.
